I Haven't Been Blogging Much... but

I haven't put in much time here, or writing my blog here - partly because of additional health troubles, but also because we have taken a couple of RV trips in the western U.S. I need the usefulness of the RV to travel AT ALL, so please be understanding. Some Terminology

Let me start off by saying that we're all here to socialize and share some pictures. Having said that, I thought I'd write up a short post that has a discussion on some terminolory with a couple of links. First, ISO. ISO refers to the sensitivity that film has to light. A higher ISO number means the film is more sensitive to light. This sensitivity has a cost though - a grainier picture. Now, if we're using digital then we have an ISO equivalent. Walking the Brooklyn Bridge

The entrance to the pedestrian walkway of the Brooklyn Bridge is only two blocks from one of the locations where I work. So on my lunch hour yesterday, I decided to take a walk. I have walked the entire bridge, from Manhattan to Brooklyn, a couple of times in the past, but never with my camera. Learning Curve....

It's funny......every time I get a really great idea, someone beats me to it! Everytime!!! I mean, its starting to become more than just a coincidence!! Either that, or I am just slow to act (a distinct possibility!). But Faye is gone. I've had issues with who's pics she was posting from the start, she never replied to my messages and today loaded 30 pics. Daily Pics is one member smaller.

Microsoft offers a free image resizer for Windows XP users, it's super easy to use.
The Re-Sizer info is about half way down the page with the download button a bit further down on the right. I wouldn't use it on images that I want to print but it's great for pics you want to post on the web or E-Mail.
